Quality
All our jewelry is 3 micron gold plated, and is guaranteed lead-free, nickel-free and cadmium-free, for impeccable quality.
The term "3 micron gold plating" refers to a manufacturing process where a layer of gold is deposited over a base metal (in our case, brass). The term "3 microns" indicates the thickness of this gold layer, which is approximately three thousandths of a millimeter. The greater the thickness of the layer, the more durable and wear-resistant the jewelry.
The 3-micron gold plating – well above the market standard of 1 micron (with the designation “fine gold plated”) – guarantees exceptional durability as well as resistance to oxidation and water.
We also use 18-karat gold, which is an alloy composed of 75% pure gold and 25% other metals (such as copper). This proportion ensures a certain strength while maintaining the beauty and richness of gold. 18-karat gold, due to its blend, offers a perfect balance between durability and brilliance, making it an ideal choice for fine jewelry.
